Peter J. Krotec
Peter J. Krotec joined
the firm as an associate in 1989 and was made a partner in the firm
in 1994. Mr. Krotec was born in Miami, Florida, in 1962. He attended
Florida State University and received his Bachelor of Science Degree
in Criminology with a minor in Economics and Political Science,
in December, 1984. While attending Florida State University, Mr.
Krotec was a
member of the Theta Chi Fraternity; Criminology Honor Society; Lambda
Alpha Epsilon Criminology Club; and, FSU Pre Law Society. Mr. Krotec
attended Stetson University College of Law, and was awarded his
Juris Doctorate in December, 1987.
Mr. Krotec was admitted to the Florida Bar in
1988 and was employed as an assistant state attorney in the Twelfth
(12th) Judicial Circuit of the State of Florida following his graduation
from law school until 1989. He is currently a member of the Sarasota
County Bar Association and of the U.S. District Court, Middle District
of Florida.
Since joining the firm, Mr Krotec has practiced
domestic relations law involving dissolution of marriage; custody
and visitation disputes; all support related issues, including alimony
and child support; modification of marital settlement agreements
and / or support Judgments; and, property division, at the trial
and appellate levels. He is supported fully by several legal assistants
and paralegal's and also practices general criminal defense .
